Answer:

  • The value of x is 2 .

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the Question

It is given that,

  • ∠BOC = 4x + 5
  • ∠AOD = 5x+3

we have to find the value of x .

Since AOD & BOC are alternative to each other .

Therefore ,

AOD = BOC

by putting the value we get

⇢ 5x + 3 = 4x + 5

⇢ 5x - 4x = 5 - 3

⇢ x = 2

  • Hence, the value of x is 2.

\large\underline{\bf{Solution}}

\large\underline{\bf{given  \rightarrow a \: figure}}

\large\underline{\bf{to \: find \rightarrow value \: of \: x}}

\large\underline{\bf{ \angle BOC   = \angle AOD}}

\large\underline{\bf{we \: knew \: that \: vertically \: opposite }}

\large\underline{\bf{angles \: are \: equal.}}

\large\underline{\bf{So}}

\large\underline{\bf{4x + 5 = 5x + 3}}

\large\underline{\bf{4x + 5 - 3 = 5x}}

\large\underline{\bf{4x + 2 = 5x}}

\large\underline{\bf{2 = 5x - 4x}}

\large\underline{\bf{2 = x}}

\large\underline{\bf{x = 2}}
