1) Thiruvanantapuram has equable climate because of two reasons (a) It is on the sea coast. The moderating influence of the sea makes the climate equable. ... At the equator, all the seasons have similar temperatures and so this makes the climate equable.

2) Delhi lies in the landlocked Northern Plains of the Indian Subcontinent. Its climate is greatly influenced by its proximity to the Himalayas and the Thar Desert, causing it to experience both weather extremes. Delhi has 5 distinct seasons

3) Tamil Nadu has rain during the monsoon season due to the southwest trade winds which blow towards the northern hemisphere. Tamil Nadu receives rainfall in the winter season due to northeast trade winds.

4) Leh has moderate precipitation almost throughout the year because of its topographical location. It lies on the landlocked high Ladakh plateau, beyond the Himalayas. The local precipitation is very less, but it is well distributed in the form of rains in summers and snowfall in winters.

5) The delta region of the eastern coast is frequently struck by cyclones because the cyclonic depressions which originate over the Andaman Sea generally cross the Eastern coasts of India and cause heavy and widespread rain, (a) These cyclones are often very destructive.
