The reaction is esterification reaction.
the reactants are Ethanoic acid and ethanol.
CH3COOH + CH3CH2OH in the presence of acid CH3COO CH2CH3
The product is ester.
Ester is a sweet smelling substance .
These are used in making perfumes and as flavouring agents.

a). This reaction is called as ethyl ethanoate or esertification. In this reaction Ethanoic acid reacts with ethanol in the presence of highly concentrated Sulfuric Acid to form Ester.

b). CH3COOH+C2H5OH in the presence of H2SO4
to form Ester. It doesn't have any specific formula but there is a general formula for Ester i.e. RCOOR.

c). A special characteristics formed in this reaction is Ester i.e. used to make Polyester in this Ester works as monomers and many more like perfume etc.
