19) Answer:
given that Cosθ = 3/5
Now, consider a right angled triangle with a angle θ
(Observe the image at the bottom for reference)
where adjacent side is 3 units and hypotenuse is 5 units because cosθ = adj/hyp.
Find the third side using Pythagoras theorem
=> 5² - 3² = opp²
=> √(25 - 9) = opp
=> √16 = opp
=> opp = 4
now, find values of sinθ and tanθ from the triangle.
where sinθ = opp/hyp = 4/5
tanθ = opp/adj = 4/3
Now, substitute the value of sinθ & tanθ in (sinθ - 1/tanθ)/2tanθ
=> (4/5 - 3/4) / 2(4/3)
=> [(16 - 15)/20]/(8/3)
=> (1/20) × (3/8)
=> 3/160.
so, 3/160 is the required answer.
in the same way you can solve the remaining questions.
