substracting y from the result

(11-y) or (1×5)+6-y

i.e,

ground floor has (2x-12) rooms.

expenditure of 2 weeks(14 days)=₹ 14a

saving of a week= ₹ b

saving of 2 weeks =₹ 2b

income of 2 weeks =( expenditure of 2 weeks + savings of 2 weeks)

income of 2 weeks= 14a+2b

income of 2 weeks =₹(14a+2b) or ₹ 2(7a+b)
