(i) 45

We know that

Sum of two complementary angles = 90

Let, the other angle be x

45 + x = 90

x = 90 - 45

x = 45

(ii) 55

We know that

Sum of two complementary angles = 90

Let, the other angle be x

55 + x = 90

x = 90 - 55

x = 35
