- Distance from the object to the mirror is 12cm
- The object moves 3 cm away from the mirror, hence now the distance from the mirror to the object is 12+3 = 15cm
- The mirror moves 3cm away, therefore now the distance from the mirror to the object is 15+3 = 18cm
- We know that, THE DISTANCE FROM THE OBJECT TO THE MIRROR IS EQUAL TO THE DISTANCE FROM THE MIRROR TO IMAGE.
- So, the distance from image to the object will be 18+18 = 36cm
- ANSWER = 36CM
