Let's just imagine that I am writing the story of Bhoothnath, but with a twist.
I am a 64 year old man. Sorry, I was a 64 year old man. I died 2 years ago. Now, I am present in my house as a ghost. Let me tell you what happened just a few months ago.
I was sitting on my rocking chair, nicely, rocking the chair. Then I heard the noise of someone dragging their suitcase. As I am a ghost, I am invisible. So I kept sitting on the chair. I was shocked to see that there were new owners in my house! This angered me a lot. But after a while, my anger cooled down, by seeing two children, one boy and one girl. Their mother was dead.
The thing that I hated the most was the father. He was really cruel to the children. He used to force the girl to do the household chores and the boy was forced to clean the house everyday. I hated this and thought to do something.
I went to the room where all their suitcases were kept, and saw through all the suitcases. In one of them, I found a photo album. I had a look, and I was stunned to see my best friend in those pictures! I came to know that my friend was the father of that cruel man. I immediately thought," If I knew this earlier, the poor kids would not have suffered so much." I went to my best friend's house, became visible for a while and knocked on the door.
My friend, was shocked and ecstatic to see me. I explained all the matter to hum and tagged his son as a criminal. As torturing kids is a crime. I immediately took him to my house and my friend called the police. After a while, the police came and the cruel father was arrested. It was told that the kids would live with their father's sister.
They were taken to her and she adopted them.
And so Happily ever After.
This is may not look like a story, but you could add some more twists and turns and make it more interesting.
