 \sqrt{ \sec(a - 1 \div  \sec(a + 1) ) }  +  \sqrt{ \sec(a + 1 \div  \sec(a - 1) ) }  =  \\ rationalising \: the \: denominators \: we \: get \\   \sec(a ) - 1 \div  \tan(a)  +  \sec(a)  + 1 \div  \tan(a)  \\  \sec(a)  - 1 +  \sec(a)  + 1 \div  \tan(a)  \\  = 2 \sec(a)  \div  \tan(a)  = 2 \csc(a) (since \: 1 \div tan(a) =  \cot(a) )
