So let's reframe the question,
let Jasmine be X and Tom be Y.
X+Y = 41 ( means that together they have ₹41)... equation(1)
Y/4 = X/7 + 2 (means that one fourth of Tom's money is equal to one seventh of Jasmine)... equation (2)
X = 41 - Y.... equation (1) rearranged
substituting this value of X in equation (2)
Y/4 = X/7 + 2
=>Y/4 = (41-Y)/7+ 2
=> Y = ((164-4Y)/7)+2
=> 7Y = 164-4Y+56
=> 7Y = 220 - 4Y
=> 11Y = 220
=> Y = 20
Since we had taken Tom to be Y, the answer is =₹20. And the option is B.
