Circumference of base =2πr

88=2×22÷7r

88×7÷44=14

Hence radius is 14 cm

Now,

Volume of cylinder =πr^2h

9240=616h

So h=15cm

Hence height of cylinder is 15cm

And circumference of its

base= 88 cm.

To find height (h) of cylinder.

Solution: volume of cylinder= πr^2h

Circumference of it's base

= 2πr.

As per question,

2πr= 88cm

r= 88/2π cm

r=( 88×7)/(2×22)

r= 14cm.............. . ..... (i)

And πr^2h= 9240 cm^3

h= 9240/πr^2

h=( 9240×7)/(22×14×14)

h= 15 cm. answer.
