Step-by-step explanation:

Population in 2010 =

2.5 \times  {10}^{6}

Population in 2019 =

0.7 \times  {10}^{7}

Let population in 2010 be x

so, In 2019,

The number of times population will be k times.

Equation will be:

y = kx

where, y is the population in 2019.

 =  > 0.7 \times  {10}^{7}  = k.(2.5 \times  {10}^{6})

 =  > 7 \times  {10}^{6}  = k.(2.5 \times  {10}^{6} )

 =  >  \frac{14}{5}  = k

which is approximately equal to 2.8

Therefore, the population in 2019 will be 2.8 times of the population in 2010.
