as the man initially had 6 flowers and he dips them in the first well and they double and become 12. Then he gives 8 flowers in the first temple. After giving 8 flowers in the temple he is left with 4 flowers . then he dips his left over flowers in the second well and his again double and he gets 8 flowers and then he gives the the eight flowers in the second Temple . Therefore he gives 8 flowers in both the temples.
