If the product of the zeroes of the polynomial x2-4x+k is 3, then what is the value of k?

Let the polynomial have 2 zeroes alpha and beta respectively.

According to the question

Alpha×beta=3

We know that

Alpha×beta = constant/coefficient of x^2

Therefore

3=k/1

3=k

The value of k is 3.

Hope this helps.

x²-4x+k=0

let x=2, in poly n eqn

2²-4×2+k=0

k=4
