we will use pH paper as NaOH is base , HCl is acid so the colour of pH after dipping it in NaOH is blue.

the colour of pH after dipping it in HCl is red.

when u dip red litmus in HCl it turns blue that means it's acidic in nature

when u dip blue litmus in NaOH it turns red that means it's basic in nature

and if there in no change in colour that means it's neutral like water
