Step-by-step explanation:

So

Triangle DAC is Isosceles, Given

so < ‘y' lives in its opposing equiline corners.

Triangle BAD is Isosceles - Given,

Where < BDA = its complimentaries in Triangle DAC = ‘y + y', so it is 2y

and opposing equiline corners host 2y.

Triangle ABC is isosceles ( Given )

So < CBA = < BAC

Now Triangles ABC, and BAD share <2y on their bases, and both are Isosceles, therefore they are Similar.

So < ACB = < BAD … that is angle size ‘y'!

And so the sum of all the angles of Triangle BAD = 5y

5y = 180

so

y= 180/5 = 36
