1) We can find total no. of integer between 1 and 100 that are divisible by 8 by using A.P.

So,
Series = 8, 16, 24......96
a = 8
an = 96
d = 8

an = a + (n - 1)d

=> 96 = 8 + (n - 1)8

=> 88/8 = n - 1

=> n = 12

So, possible outcome = 12
Total no. of outcome = 100
p(getting a no. divisible by 8) = 12/100
= 3/25

2) Total no. that are not divisible by 8 between 1 and 100 = 100 - 12 = 88

Possible outcome = 88
Total no. of outcome = 100

P(getting no. not divisible by 8) = 88/100

= 22/25
