Adding (1) and (2)


Angle 1 + Angle 3 = Angle 2 + Angle 4 ............(3)

Now Angle 1+3 = Angle ABC.

Angle 2 + 4 = Angle DBC.

so substituting the values , in (3)

Angle ABC = Angle DBC.

(The Euclid Axiom used is When Equal are added to equals , the sum is equal )
