Let the original price be 'x'

Now,the original price is reduced by 17% of original to get the new price

So,we get the equation:-

x-17/100x=465

Making the denominator same

100x/100-17x/100=465

Subtracting

83x/100=465

Solving

83x=46500

Dividing

x=46500/83=₹560.24 (approx)

Therefore,the original price=₹560.24

Hope it helps you pls mark as brainliest answer.....

mary2751: it is reduced by 7% not 17%
mary2751: edit it
bhavikachopra50: 100x/100-7x/100=93x/100=465 93x=46500 x=46500/93=₹500 therefore the original price is ₹500.
