Given that the length of the pool = 30m = 3000cm

Given that the breadth of the pool = 20m = 2000cm

Given that the height of the pool = 1.5m = 150cm

We know that Area of the pool = length * breadth

                                                    = 3000 * 2000

                                                    = 6000000cm^2.

We know that Area of walls = 2(l + b) * h

                  = 2(3000 + 2000) * 150

                  = 2(5000) * 150

                  = 1500000cm^2.

Total area = 6000000 + 1500000

                  = 7500000cm^2

Given that Area of each tile = 50^2 = 2500cm^2.

Therefore the total number of tiles required = 7500000/2500

                                                                          = 3000.

Hope this helps!
