To Find:-

value for following

i) (42 x³ y² z⁴)/6xy²z³

ii) (3x^(-2) y^(-3)z)/ 9x^(-2) y^(-4)

Solution step by step:-

i) (42 x³ y² z⁴)/6xy²z³

Reduce the fraction

= 7 × x^(3 - 1) × y^(2 - 2) × z^(4 - 3)

= 7 × x² × y⁰ × z¹

simply

= 7x² × 1 × z ......( y⁰ = 1)

= 7x²z

ii) 3 x^(-2) y^(-3) z / 9 x^(-2) y^(-4)

Reduce the fraction

= x^(-2 -(-2)) × y^(-3 - (-4)) × z/3

= 1/3 × [ x^(-2 + 2) × y^(-3 + 4) × z ]

simply

= 1/3 × [x⁰ × y¹ × z ]

= 1/3 × ( 1 × y × z )

= 1/3 × yz

= yz/3

Answer:-

i) (42 x³ y² z⁴)/6xy²z³ = 7x²y

ii) 3 x^(-2) y^(-3) z / 9 x^(-2) y^(-4) = yz/3

Take the pain of understanding guys, here i can't use latex due to errors in latest Updates.
