(b) BC (because velocity is decreasing)

(c) AB (because velocity is constant)

(d) acceleration = dv/dt

    so acceleration between point O-A = +4 m/s^2

         acceleration between point A-B = 0

         acceleration between point B-C = -2 m/s^2

Start from rest so initial velocity (u) = 0

Time = 10 seconds

final velocity = 400 m/s

so by using equation of motion, V = U + at

we get value of a = 40 m/s^2

Q3

Initial velocity = 35 m/s

final velocity = 0

time taken =  8 seconds

so by using v = u + at

we get a = - 4.3 m/s^2

Q4

initial velocity = 22.2 m/s

final velocity = 16.6 m/s

time taken = 5 seconds

so by using v = u + at

we get a = -1.12 m/s^2
