26. Sum of  \frac{65}{12 } \:  \:  and \:  \:  \frac{8}{3}  \\

 =  \frac{65}{12}  +  \frac{8}{3}  \\   \\ =  >  \frac{65 + 8(4)}{12} \\  \\   =  \frac{65 + 32}{12}  \\  \\  =  \frac{97}{12}

Difference of

 \frac{65}{12}  \: and \:  \frac{8}{3}  \\  \\  \\  =  \frac{65}{12}  -  \frac{8}{3}  \\  \\  =  \frac{65 - (8(4))}{12}  \\  \\   = \frac{65 - 32}{12}  \\  \\  =  \frac{33}{12}

So, Dividing sum by the difference.

 \frac{97}{12}  \div  \frac{33}{12}  \\  \\  = >   \frac{97}{ \cancel12}  \times  \frac{ \cancel12}{33}   =  \boxed{  \red{\frac{97}{33}} }

The cost of 2 1/2 metre of cloth is Rs 78 3/4

2 \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{5}{2}  \\  \\ and \\  \\ 78 \frac{3}{4}  =  \frac{315}{4}

So, The cost of 1 m of cloth

  = \frac{315}{4}  \div  \frac{5}{2}  \\  or \\  =  \frac{ \frac{315}{4} }{ \frac{5}{2} }  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{315}{4}  \times  \frac{2}{5}   =  \frac{63}{2}  \\  \\  \implies  \boxed{\red{ \frac{63}{2}}}

28. Given that, product of two rational numbers is 10 and one of them is -8.

So let the other number be x

=> -8 × x = 10

 =  > x =  \frac{10}{ - 8}  \\   \\ =  >  \boxed {\red{ -  \frac{5}{4} }}

Given that, 24 trousers are prepared with 54 m of cloth.

i.e. Length required to make 24 trousers = 54 m

So, length required to make each pair of trouser = \frac{54}{24} \: m

  = \boxed{ \red{ \frac{9}{4} m}} \\

We are given that,

He donated 1/5th part of his salary to an NGO

This means,   \frac{x}{5}

is the amount given to NGO

Similarly

 \frac{x}{4}  =  > \:  for \: food \\

 \frac{x}{3}  =  >  \: on \: rent \\

 \frac{x}{15}  =  > on \: other \: expenses \\

Amount left => 9000

Now,

Let Rohit's salary be x

So, according to the question

 \small \: x =  \frac{x}{5}  +  \frac{x}{4}  +  \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{x}{15}  + 9000 \\  \\  =  > \scriptsize x =  \frac{12x + 15x + 20x + 4x + 540000}{60}  \\  \\  =  > 60x = 51x + 540000 \\  \\  =  > 60x - 51x = 540000 \\  \\  =  > 9x = 540000 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{540000}{9}  \\  \\  =  >  x= \boxed{ \red{60000}} \\

The monthly income of Rohit is Rs 60,000
