Parallelogram perimeter = 2 (A+B)

Given 2(A+B) = 72

Then A + B = 36

Now, A : B = 5:7

=> 7A = 5B

=> A = 5B/7

Put the above on A+B we get,

5B/7 + B = 36

=> 12 B = 36*7 = 252

=> B = 252/12 = 21.

Then, A = 36 - 21 = 15.

Therefore the length of both sides is 15 and 21
