Write a short story of 400 words on any of the topics-
1. There lives a monster on the top of the hill who has vowed to have all the thinkers of the land
for dinner. Each night one thinker has to be sent to the monster for his meal or he wreaks havoc and
gobbles up cattle, men, women and children indiscriminately. By eating up the thinkers, the monster
wants to turn the land into one full of idiots and rule over them forever. People are terrified of the
monster and have given up all hope of freeing themselves from him. The hero of the story is one such
thinker who devises a plan to beat the monster and restore peace and harmony in the land…





2. A city is run by robots that take over after escaping from a manufacturing plant. Now, the
roles are reversed and the robots programme humans to work for them as they attempt to take over the
rest of the country.

3. An epidemic moves through the human population. However, instead of making people sick,
it makes them happy… and submissive to a higher power. Who is controlling them and for what
purpose?
