Jennydsilva: Probably the question is wrong.. since every denominator have factors.. except that go Q. U check if the denominator of Q is:x^2+2x-3 instead of the given value.

Just cross multiply the terms in the bracket.....(P+Q)..once you find the answer..
...do the same with the result and R and hence you get the answer.

Mithun101: you do the normal cross multiplication to get the numerator and then you multiply the denominators to get the denominators of the fraction
Mithun101: Basically draw an x with the numerator of the first fraction and the denominator of the second and the numerator of the second and the denominator of the first.... then multiply them....you get the denominator and then you multiply the denominator to attain the denominator..thats all
