We know that volume of the cylinder = pir^2h.

The volume of the 1st cylinder v1 = pir1^2h

The volume of the 2nd cylinder = pir2^2h

Now,

 \frac{pir1^2h}{pir2^2h} =  \frac{3}{4}

 \frac{r1^2}{r2^2} =  \frac{3}{4}

 \frac{r1}{r2} =  \frac{9}{16}

Therefore the ratio of their volumes = 9:16.

Hope this helps!
