when counted yearly, amount from c.i.=5000(1+4/100)(1+4/100)½=5000×26/25×(26/25)½=1040×5.5=5720
when counted half yearly,amount from c.i.=5000(1+2/100)³=5000×51/50×51/50×51/50=51³/25=5306.0
difference in c.i.=5720-5306=414Rs.
