Pls Anyone help me with this question!!!!

The earth taken out from a pit is evenly spread over a rectangular field of length 80m and width 60m . If the volume of the earth dug is 3696m^3 , then the field is raised by how much??

Let, the field is raised by x m.

Volume of earth dug
= 3696 m^3

Area of the rectangular field
= 80 * 60 = 4800 m^3

Now, by condition,
Or, 4800 * x = 3696
Or, x = 3696/4800 = 77/100.

Hence, the field raised by 0.77 m = 77 cm.
