Annual Day Speech
Our school, a place where we learn a whole gamut of subjects such as the more serious and attention-seeking ones like the science and maths to the ones that we learn while we are merely practising them like sports and art, is a hub of all the activities.
The year 2019 was indeed a roller coaster ride for all of us just like the previous years. A time filled with opportunities, learning with fun and enjoyment, and time well cherished and spent. The journey through 2019 has been competitive at times as well experienced helping hands reaching out. It has indeed been a journey that has passed by and will never return.
Success is a combination of desire and passion, and with that being said, the school has created among all children this value and have implemented in their academics to perform excellently in their respective subjects.
The best part about school is friends, with whom we can win a lot of trophies, prizes, and accolades, as a team and for our school. Along with the vast ocean of Educational topics for children to read and imbibe, there are enough activities which the children enjoy and that provide perseverance, happiness and accuracy.
Every child is possessed with innate talents, some in the stream of science, some in history and geography, and others in sports, dance, or even croaking. By presenting these talents on the stage, credentials are created to win confidence, courage and triumph.
Under the guidance of the best brains and the most hard-working personalities at school, our dear teachers, we have put together an extraordinary performance on our Annual Day, 2019 for everyone to enjoy.
The school presents a music drama based on the most adorable book by Rudyard Kipling, The Jungle Book, followed by folk and contemporary dance performances, poetry lessons, English songs along with Hindi classical singing, a magic show created by students themselves, talk show, and many other activities for the audience to feast their eyes upon.
I thank and respect each parent, who have taken the time and do all this. It matters a lot to us, and we are grateful. Parents and teachers are together in this endeavor, and we work best to bring healthy citizens of our country.
This entire programme would be incomplete without the support of everyone. Both in school and at home, children should be an environment that opens the door to opportunities that nurture their talents and qualities, which can become a complete human, real wealth of nature and earth mother.
I cannot finish this Annual Day speech without adding a thank you note for all our teachers who have burned candles on both ends and brought light to this magnificent event together for all of us. Heartfelt gratitude to all the non-working staff member, for your relentless help in running around and carrying things.
Lastly, a big thank you to our chief Guest, wh, at this time, took out his valuable time to be with here with us. A big round of applause for all of us and all the efforts. Thank you.
Before we get into this memorable day, I would like to take you through my journey in this school as a final year student. The best part of coming to school for some maybe the cultural activities, for others it may be the teachers and friends, but to me, it is the school on the whole.
Throughout my entire journey in this school, I have shared emotional yet funny moments and relationships. I’ve bonded with students and teachers, shared lunches, got scolded as well appreciated, won trophies, learned academically as well as life lessons.
