The number is already divisible by 5. To be divisible by 3, its digit sum but be divisible by 3. Without the x, the digit sum is 35 and we need 36 so x=1

\large\red{Question:}
If the 8 digit number 136x5785 is divisible by 15,then find the least possible values of x ?

\huge\red{Answer:}

Since, 15 = 3×5
Combining the divisibility rules of 3 & 5, divisibility rule of 15 can be obtained.

If the Number has to be divisible by 15, then it must have 0 or 5 as unit digit and Sum of the digits of the number must be a multiple of 3

Given,
136x5785 is divisible by 15

It has 5 as unit digit. So divisibility rule of 5 is satisfied.

Sum of digits of the given 8-digit Number = 35+x
Nearest multiple of 3 = 36

So
The value of x = 1 so that the number will be divisible by 3

As divisibility rules of both 3 & 5 are satisfied, the number will also be divisible by 15.
