Physics:-

1. Fluid friction is the force that resists motion either within the fluid itself or of another medium moving through the fluid. There is internal friction, which is a result of the interactions between molecules of the fluid, and there is external friction, which refers to how a fluid interacts with other matter.

Examples: Air pushing against your hand when you stick it out the window of a car (external), Water pushing against a swimmer's body as they move through it (external), The movement of your coffee as you stir it with a spoon (external), Sucking water through a straw (internal), Submarine moving through water (external)

2. Roller reduces force due to friction (frictional force) and as a result it is easier to move an object.

3. Bearings reduce friction by means of a rolling motion. Shaft rotates, causing the rolling elements inside the bearing to roll.

4. The moving part of the machine has always the problem of damaging because of the friction. In these parts, oil is usually applied to lessen the friction. The machine will work properly.

When oil, grease or graphite is applied between the moving part of a machine, a thin layer is formed there and moving surfaces do not directly rub against each other will ultimately increase the efficiency of a machine.
