Both the resistance are in series thus, the total resistance will be;

  • Resistance of conducter + Resistance of bulb
  • 6 + 30

Now, it is simple from here, remember that ohm's law? yes, we are going to use that formula here;

  • V = IR
  • 9 = I × 36
