59.
so there are 12 balls
1. probability of white ball =x/12
2. it is given that when 6 more ball are added so x+6/18
x+6/18= double in 1
x+6/18=2x/12
x+6/18=x/6
6×x+6/18=x
x+6/3=x
x+6=3x
2x=6
x=3

navneet123098: 60. total numbers formed = 6. p (getting multiple of 5)= 2/6=1/3. p(getting a multiple of 9)=6/6=1. p(getting a num. end with 9) =2/6 =1/3

1) No of balls=12
no of white balls =x
p(white ball) = no. of favourable outcomes/no of total possible outcomes

= x/12----(1)

2) If 6 more white balls are put in the bag
no of total balls = 18
no of white balls =x+6
p(white balls)= (x+6)/18---(2)

Therefore

(x+6)/18 = 2*x/12
(x+6)/18 =x/6
x+6 = 18x/6
x+6=3x
6=3x-x
6=2x
2x=6
x=6/2
x=3

Hope this will help u... :-)
