First Step :

As same current flows through both 1 ohm resistor it is in series

So it will be R = 1+1 = 2

Second step:

Now the New 2ohm equivalent resistor is parallel with the other 2 ohm resistor

So it will be

1/R equivalent =

 =  \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{2}  \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \\  =  \frac{3}{2}

Hence R = 2/3 ohm
