 {(a - b)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  - 2ab +  {b}^{2}

 {(2y - 3)}^{2}  =  {(2y)}^{2}  - 2 \times 2y  \times 3 +  {3}^{2}

 = 4 {y}^{2}  - 12y + 9
