1) activity :- take a bowl and move it with your hand in air . Now take it inside water and then move it . u will observe that there is a huge resistance to the motion of the bowl inside water . this resistance is called drag or fluid friction. take a plastic packet . move it in air with its open mouth to the direction of the motion. we will notice that the packet becomes a bit harder to move . this is because the resistance offered by the drag in the air . it's called fluid friction.

2)ball bearings r used to smoothen the FRICTION between two surfaces in motion with contact with each other. used in machines (factories) etc.

3) the shape , size , volume , density of an object affect fluid friction.

4)when a body rolls over another, in order to move , it's called rolling friction.

eg :- car tyres rolls. a football rolls.

5) frictional force offered by fluids is called drag

6) drag

7) minimum with respect to static and sliding FRICTION.
