Answer:

Take Triangle AOB

AO=5cm

BO=12cm

Angle O= 90°

Using Pythagorean Theorem

a²+b²=c²

5²+12²=c²

√25+144=c

√169=c

c=13cm

Take Triangle ABC

A=14cm

B=15cm

C=13cm

S=(a+b+c)/2

S= (14+15+13)/2

S= 42/2

=21

Using herons formula

√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

√21×(21-14)(21-15)(21-13)

√21×7×6×8

√7056

=84 cm²

Therefore Area of the Triangle ABC=84cm²

Now find the Area of the Triangle AOC similarly by the above steps and substract it from the Area of the Triangle ABC to find the Area of the shaded part.

Hope it helps....✌
