Solution -1.

Given:-

  • 2(3u-v) = 5uv

➠ 6u - 2v = 5uv

Divide by "uv" in both side.

➠ 6u/uv - 2v/uv = 5uv/uv

➠6/v - 2/u = 5 ------(1)

And,

  • 2(u+3v) = 5uv

➠ 2u + 6v = 5uv

Divide by "uv" in both side.

➠ 2u/uv + 6v/uv = 5uv/uv

➠2/v + 6/u = 5 --------(2)

Let,

  • 1/u = p
  • 1/v = q

So, equ(1) will be

  • 6q - 2p = 5

Or,

  • 2p - 6q = -5 --------(3)

And, equ(2) will be

  • 2q + 6p = 5

Or,

  • 6p + 2q = 5 -----------(4)

Multiply 6 and 2 in equ (3) and (4)

  • 12p - 36q = -30
  • 12p + 4q = 10

_________________Sub. it's

➠ (-36q - 4q ) = -30-10

➠ -40q = -40

➠ q = (-40)/(-40)

q = 1

keep value of q in equ(3),

➠ 2p - 6*1 = -5

➠ 2p = -5 +6

p = 1/2

Hence:-

  • 1/u = p = 1/2

So,

  • u = 2

And,

  • 1/v = q = 1

So,

  • v = 1

Since, value of u = 2 , and v = 1.

Solution -2.

Given:-

  • 2/y + 3/x = 7/xy ------------(1)
  • 6/y + 9/x = 11/xy-------------(2)

multiply by xy in both side, new equation will be :-

  • 2x + 3y = 7 ---------(3)
  • 6x + 9y = 11----------(4)

By, equ(3),

➠ x = (7-3y)/2

keep value of x in equ(4),

➠ 6*[(7-3y)/2] + 9y = 11

➠ 3*[(7-3y)] + 9y = 11

➠ 21 - 9y + 9y = 11

➠ 21 ≠ 11

This have not any solution.
