Given that the angle made by incident ray with the surface = 50°

Now, normal at the point of incidence = 90°

Hence, angle of incidence with normal + angle of incidence with surface = 90°

→ angle i + 50° = 90°

→ angle i = 90 - 50

→ angle i = 40°

Now according to the law of reflection of light

Angle of incidence = angle of reflection

→ angle i = angle r

→ angle r = 40°

Answer :- 40°

Nimitt6: Is your answer right
Nimitt6: like as given angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection
Nimitt6: Accha but is her answer right

as we know that norman is always _|_to plane

° 50 +/_i=90

° °

=>/_i=40

but /_i =/_r according to laws of reflection

hence /_r=40
