Answer:
first let length is - l , breath is - b
so new length is - 1.6l , new breath is - 1.7l
now rectangle is converted into circle but perimeter of circle and rectangle will remain same .
so , let r is radious of circle. so 2*π*r = 2( 1.6l+1.7b)
here it is square - so l = b.
so by solving this we get ,π* r= 1.6l+ 1.7l= 3.3l
so r= 1.05l
so circle area= π*r^2 = (1.05l)^2 * (π) = 3.465*(l^2)
so now percentage increase in area of circle from square is
=( area of circle - area of square)/ area of square * 100
= (3.465-1) * (l^2) / l^2 *100
= 2.465*100
= 246.5 %
