in triangle ABC there are two points D and E on AB and AC respectively.
so that DE||BC.
area triangle DBC=15cm^2.
we know that area of triangle between same parallel and same are equal.
Thus triangle DBC and EBC are between same base BC and same parallel DE. therefore
area triangle EBC is also 15cm^2.

reason:
triangle DBC and EBC lie on the same base and between same parallels DE and BC.
Therefore, Area(DBC)=Area(EBC)
