Mole is defined as the amount of a substance which contains the same number of chemical units as there are atoms in exactly 12 grams of pure carbon.
Amole represents a collection of 6.023×10²³ chemical units.
EXAMPLE:
One mole of a hydrogen atom and hydrogen molecule = 6.023×10²³.
Atomic weight is the average mass of atoms of an element, calculated using a relative abundance of isotopes in a naturally occurring element.
EXAMPLES:
The atomic weight of carbon = 12.011.
Where most carbon atoms consist of 6 protons and 6 neutrons.
