After reading this I guess....
The rich man will ask the question only 2 the two girls... I mean the youngest and the oldest... Not the middle one... U can see that in the 4th picture it has said that the rich one wants to marry either the youngest or the oldest but not the middle one and in the 5th picture it has been said that John agrees... that means he will give either his oldest or his youngest daughter for marriage. The question is set up in such a way so that it can trick the readers... So, The rich man will ask the question only either the youngest or the oldest... Now the man has to ask a universally truth question that even a 1 year old boy also knows, like "Sun rises in west. Is it yes or no? "... He can choose any girl from the 2 in random... If one of the girls says its 'no' then its known that she is the oldest daughter and the other one will also b know but if she tells its 'yes' then its clear that she is the youngest one and the other is the oldest one....
Now its completely one the rich man's desire whether he wants to marry the oldest or the youngest....
Hope u understood....
