i. Mercury (It's Liquid at room temperature)

ii. Helium (It's a Noble gas and has 0 valency)

iii. He (It has no combing capacity) (So, it has no other forms like He₃ and all, It's wrong)

iv. Graphite (Only this is an Allotrophy of Carbon, rest are not)

(b) Symbols of Elements are determined by following Factors :

  • First Letter of their name (Example Oxygen [O], Carbon [C] etc)
  • First 2 letters of their Latin Name (Example Mercury{Hydrargyrum} [Hg], Copper{Cuprum} [Cu])
  • First 2 Letters of their name(Example Calcium [Ca], Helium [He])
