Answer:

The ball reaches the bottom losing 20% of the its velocity with which it hits the glycerin surface. Let 'a' be the deceleration of the ball in glycerin and x be the height of the glycerin surface from bottom. So, average velocity of fall is = 10.5/2 = 5.25 m/s or 5.3 m/s. Aakash EduTech Pvt.
