Pls explain

"When wasteful war shall statues overturn,

And broils root out the work of masonry,

Nor Mars his sword nor war's quick fire shall burn

The living record of yout memory.

'Gainst death and alloblivious enmity"

It means war are totally wasteful,nothing left behind after wars except distruction .
All big statues will get collapsed and get mix with sand but good writtings and good deeds will remain alive even if there is war or anything. It will remain in hearts , and no one can ruin it.
