Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

n(U)=100

n(A)=40

n(B)=20

n(AUB)'=50

TO SOLVE

n(U)=n(AUB)+n(AUB)'

     100   =n(AUB)+50

n(AUB)=100-50=50

n(AUB)=50

n(AUB)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A ∩B)

50=40+20-n(A∩B)

n(A∩B)=60-50=10

n(A∩B)=10

n(A-B)=n(A)-n(A∩B)

           =40-10=30

n(A-B)=30

ANSWER

n(AUB)=50

n(A∩B)=10

n(A-B)=30
