let the shortest side be x
then the third side equals to x+1
then the hypotenuse =x-1
x+x-1=x+1
2x-1=x+1
2x-x=1+1
x=2m
x+1=2+1=3m
x-1=2-1=1m

let the shortest side be x then
a/q the hypotenuse will be..2x-1

third side=x+1....now
 {(2x - 1)}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {(x + 1) }^{2} \\ 4 {x}^{2}  + 1 - 4x = 2 {x}^{2}  + 1 + 2x \\ 2 {x}^{2}  - 6x = 0 \\ 2x(x - 3) =0 \\ x = 0 \\ x = 3
