ii.So sum of angles in triangles is 180

b+45+55=180

b=80

Now ever co exterior or interior angle is equal to 180

Now, 180-55= 125

125+c=180 (Co exterior)

c=55

now 180-45 =135

135+a=180

a=45

i.

120+40+a=180

a=20

Now

180-120=60

c+60=180(Co interior)

c=120

Now,180-40=120

b+120=180( Co interior

b=60

Answer:

(I) a) 20

b) 40

c) 120

(ii) a) 45

b) 80

c) 55

Step-by-step explanation:

(I)

a) In the figure, you can clearly see a triangle form. And by angle sum property of triangle,

all angles add upto 180°

So, 120+40+a=180 ; a=20°

b) The two lines l and m are parallel. So, if we take the right line segment as a transversal,

We know alternate interior angles are equal.

Hence, b=40°

c) Similar to last question, by taking the transversal as the left one,

c=120°

(ii) All things are similar to last question. Angle b can be calculated by using the angle sum property and other two angles are alternate interior angles to their respective angles.
